The candidate will become a member of the Austin IPC Training Team. The candidate will help identify opportunities for organizational improvements, and implement tactical solutions in regards to Austin IPC Training and Manufacturing employee onboarding.
• The candidate will establish relationships with and foster collaboration among Austin factory managers, tech ops managers, and VSS leaders across each area at multiple Austin Factories.
• Research training compliance questions and participate in Training audits as required
• Be responsible managing a small team of IPC instructors.
• Responsible for maintaining training compliance consistency across multiple factories.
• Developing and implementing a monitoring process for developmental training activities
• Understanding managing staffing plans across multiple factories and assisting VSS and Factory Managers with the hiring process
• Onboarding liaison for BAE Systems and Contractor Manufacturing Personal
• Must be a team player, be comfortable in a multi-tasking in an evolving environment, and have experience in presenting work output to all levels of management
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Experience presenting training material to groups/colleagues.
Knowledge of IPC Industry Standards (IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001)
Ability to obtain both IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 CIT certification within 6 months of hiring date
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Able to work in a team setting
Soldering and solder inspection experience.
Plans, organizes, and conducts training programs for manufacturing personnel. Training may include but not limited to lecture, soldering, web-based training, etc.
Responsible for manufacturing new hire induction/onboarding program.
Excellent verbal & written communication and organizational skills required.
