Do you enjoy working on a small team and working with great people? We are a small team and are looking for a Systems Engineer with a minimum of 11 years relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree to deliver enterprise video collaboration capabilities, including architectural design and optimization, system evaluation and analysis. The candidate shall work closely with a Senior Project Manager to perform technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation, evaluate alternatives including cost, risk, supportability, and analyses for total systems. The systems engineer shall lead analysis at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal; ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions; and translate customer requirements into hardware/software specifications. Position responsibilities include the following:

  • Design, solution, and implement various network communications and Video systems
  • Implement network designs and upgrades
  • Create Procurement BOM's for Video and communication systems
  • Brief designs to various levels of leadership and boards for approval
  • Ensure systems are A&A compliant
  • Provide continuous monitoring of network systems ensuring system stability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve with video and network communication system issues
  • Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing including routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, and gateways
  • Evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance systems capabilities
  • Provide technical support to customers and other stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers to ensure successful completion of projects
  • Have knowledge of Cisco UCS (Unified Computing System: Fabric Interconnect and Nexus network switches, Chassis comprising Server Blades, and a NetApp ONTAP Storage Array System
  • Maintain, upgrade, configure and monitor daily and weekly differential and full system backup policies and activities
  • Manage and maintain equipment inventory
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards
  • Maintain and update VMware ESXi hosts and vSphere/vCenter v7.0+ system hosting virtual Windows servers and workstations, and Linux servers
  • Build, maintain, and upgrade Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) for use with Microsoft Windows 11 OS workstation and laptop builds, Server 2020, 2019, and 2016 builds, server and workstation security updates and patching, application deployments and software/licensing and compliance reports

  • Experience designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated functional, integration, and regression testing documentation
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving Tier 3/4 technical issues and documenting findings and implementation
  • Experience with Poly and Cisco VTC infrastructure solutions
  • Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM)
  • Experience with Unified Border Element (UBE)
  • Experience with Cisco Expressways or Tandberg Video Communications Server (VCS)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
