Job Description Are you up for the challenge of applying cutting edge Information Technologies with challenging national security missions? The BAE Intelligence & Security Sector is seeking a Transition and Deployment Manager responsible for leading Cyber IT Engineering services program for a large Intelligence customer. This is a Senior Manager-level position will report to the Intelligence Solutions business area and directly supports the Government mission IT organization.
The Transition and Deployment Manager leads a team of engineers and planners to manage the recurring startup and transition of new services, including installation and deployment of IT systems in support of Cyber engineering for a large Intelligence customer. IT systems supported include both on-premises infrastructure (networks, computing, storage, desktops) cloud-deployed systems (including hybrid cloud and multi-cloud), and edge systems (mobile devices and tactical compute) for intelligence missions. Required work will support mostly classified IT systems.
The Transition and Deployment Manager must be experienced with schedule sensitive staffing and cost management for new service delivery and deployment. Specific duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the planning, execution and oversight for deployment of new Cybersecurity staff and infrastructure such as:
- Identity and Access Management systems
- Cross Domain Security products and systems
- Defensive Cyber solutions
- Cyber auditing systems
- Configuration for data analytics tools designed to report on Cyber activities and metrics.
- Installation and logistics management for deployment operations.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline (e.g. Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering) with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
OR
- Master’s Degree in the appropriate disciplines (e.g. Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering) and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Required Experience Skills:
- Experience planning and installing enterprise IT systems, leading a diverse technical team.
- Excellent Project Management skills and use of scheduling and resource management tools.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity IT systems, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes
- Knowledge of standard practices for installation, configuration and operation of on-prem, cloud, and hybrid enterprise IT including help desk operations
- Experience with Splunk and associated data analytics tools
- Experience with ITILv3 and ITILv4 processes and solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively at senior levels of the government (customer) and corporate management (company) to communicate program status.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Knowledge of large system deployment strategies including configuration management, technical baseline management, cost estimating and analysis, and decision support
- Experience with application and data migration from on-prem to cloud deployments
- Knowledge of automated DevSecOps pipeline processes and tools
- Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, including scope, cost and schedule, and resource management, including Earned Value Management
- Experience collaborating across subcontractor engineering firms and OEMs
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
