Job Description
- Create, edit, and audit Process Control Procedures (PCPs), for the Inside and Outside Machine shop/Machinists, on primary and auxiliary components of, main propulsion diesel engines, main reduction gears, ship's service diesel generators, advanced induction motors, and ship's propulsion shafting, pertaining to CG's, MCM's, LCS's, LPD's, LHD's, DDG's, DDG-1000, and LPD class ship's
- Ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures
- Ensuring adherence to contract requirements (eg: 4E work spec, firm-fixed price contracts, RCC's, zero and first tier references, NAVSEA Standard Items, etc.)
- Ensuring compliance with Navy and NSA (SWRMC, SSGC, etc) technical publications ( NSTM's, JFMM, GSO, etc.)
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Highly proficient in Windows and Apple platforms, MS Office Suite ( Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat), AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Creative: Highly skilled in problem solving, resourcefulness, and critical thinking
- Quick learner, self-motivated, and strong willingness to learn
