Job Description BAE Systems, one of the world's leading defense contractors and a stable Fortune 500 Company, has an opening for a Systems Integration Lead in Colorado Springs supporting a new project to develop revolutionary capabilities in Deep-Space Advance Radar.
As the Systems Integration Lead, you will develop, document, and execute a full system integration plan for a comprehensive large scale radar development effort implementing a farm of dish antennas. The integration involves multiple geographically separated vendors developing major system components that will require incremental integration, leading up to a full scale integration on-site at an OCONUS location as well as integration of a software development for multiple major subsystems in the Continental United States.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
• Willingness and ability to support international travel up to 50%
• Experience working as part of an Integration and Test team across multiple engineering disciplines
• Experience in supporting major design reviews
• Experience as a member of a team integrating large, complex systems comprised of diverse HW and SW elements
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot software issues during integration
• Ability to plan and coordinate integration activities
• Ability to support Integration and Test/Checkout (IATC) of Hardware and Software configuration items
• Ability to document and record integration activities, including plans, procedures, results, and deficiencies
• Evidence of skills, knowledge or experience in at least two of the listed preferred qualifications
This position requires the successful candidate to have an active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements.
You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance.
Salary Range: $107,390 - $182,603
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
