Job Description This posting is for an international position in Guaymas Mexico leading and supporting our local IT team.
The responsibilities include leading a local IT support team to oversee all IT design and support activities, while maintaining operations business continuity and continuous improvement activities.
Provide hardware and software support while mentoring Entry-Level and Jr Sys Admins on the essentials of thorough investigation methods and procedures towards determination of root cause and corrective action.
Coordinate activities and establish oneself as the IT lead and focal point of contact in our Guaymas, Mexico facility. The position will also need to remotely assist in supporting the production process for Fort Wayne, IN and Endicott, NY.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to; maintaining Information Systems procedures (to include SOP and DFARS compliance), providing IT leadership to analyze and improve production and test stand uptime.
This ESS-IT IT lead role is expected to provide management interface between offsite and onsite customers. The IT lead shall provide support with a Lean Manufacturing/DFSS mindset.
Please Note: After initial training has been completed, the selected candidate must be willing to relocate to the Guaymas, Mexico area for a minimum of four years. Initial training will take place at the Fort Wayne Indiana BAE facility for a period of three to four months prior to relocating the Guaymas Mexico site. This is a accompanied or unaccompanied position. Expenses provided for individual and/or family relocation (Negotiated by HR).
Relocation expenses and per diems will be provided and negotiated at time of hiring.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- BS in Information Technologies or equivalent and minimum 8-10 years of experience
- Electronics troubleshooting (analog, digital)
- Experience with Cloud and Database architecture
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair Active Directory issues (advanced level)
- Demonstrated network troubleshooting skills
- Experience leading a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills
- Proven technical skills of Active Directory, ESXI hosts, VM’s and Cisco networking
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
- CCNA preferred but not required.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills ITAR compliance certification within six months of hiring.
Security Plus certification within six months of hire.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $102200 - $173700
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
