Job Description This role will report directly to the VP of IT Transformation and will collaborate with BAE leadership in our P&S sector to provide enterprise IT architecture support across the entirety of our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be the enterprise architecture digital transformation subject matter expert across the core manufacturing business systems (ERP, MES, & PLM), driving digital business optimization and digital transformation activities in our manufacturing environments using Lean techniques like Value Stream Mapping, the Flow Framework, and Agile techniques. You will represent the sector’s digital needs to the broader IT Transformation team, and in turn share and educate the sector on broader transformation strategies (data, integration, digital, etc.).

As a skilled Agile practitioner, you will support and coordinate continuous improvement, program delivery innovation and offer data-centric thought leadership to sector product lines ensure digital projects and programs are clearly defined to meet digital strategy objectives. In short, this individual contributor position will operate as a trusted advisor that helps the P&S sector achieve its digital business optimization and transformation goals. You may lead and/or facilitate multiple manufacturing process transformation activities, from ideation through execution, across the entire business sector.

This role will engage in the adoption of methods, frameworks, digital tooling, and workforce skills that enable sector-wide manufacturing transformation in an Agile and lean manner.

Responsible for planning, facilitating, and leading engagements that assess our value chains in order to speed product delivery, reduce defects, and enable normalized reporting across product lines.
Conduct thought leadership research on process, innovation, quality, and technology rationalization across the sector’s ERP, PLM, and MES systems, bringing in exception expertise and best practices focused on Oracle EBS and PTC Windchill.
Facilitate resolution to organizational challenges that may arise as the sector transforms from functional drivers to digital process drivers.

Delivers process Engineering and Change management implementation coaching/facilitation, provides recommendations and assists teams in meeting implementation objectives.

Defines, measures, and performs maturity adoption analysis to inform action plans, feed data analytics initiatives, and control digital change management across all digital strategy related objectives. Uses knowledge of improvement methodologies and tools to facilitate optimized operational/process improvement.Required Skills and Education 5+ years of leading strategic business process design or improvement projects in manufacturing environments specifically centered on either digital business optimization or digital transformation.

Deep understanding of the intricate technical relationships that exist between ERP, PLM, and MES systems, and how they complement each other.

Oracle EBS and PTC Windchill experience

Experience assessing and leveraging both mainstream and emerging technology advancements in support of either digital business optimization or digital transformation activities.

Strong experience in change management to drive organizational impact.

Ability to create, develop and optimize manufacturing processes by mapping and documenting the current state using lean techniques, especially Value Stream Mapping, to optimizing the process and implementing change.

Experience conducting assessments, evaluating pain points and discovering opportunities to speed value delivery.

Develop technical program roadmaps, and support manufacturing-specific business case creation as a technical SME.

Proven track record of applying digital transformation concepts throughout large scale improvement programs that span multiple product lines.

Engage cross-functional teams to implement new methods and technology-driven ideas to facilitate successful future process improvements.

Familiar with manufacturing business designs: business models, functions, processes, and job roles in manufacturing environments, as well as how they are impacted by digitization and emerging technologies/techniques.

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a similar field with demonstrated work experience.
Preferred Skills and Education Master's Degree.

Agile and/or Lean certifications or equivalent

Experience leading the technical adoption of automation, robotics, 3D printing, employment of AR/VR, etc. to factory floor environments

Demonstrated understanding of how to apply AI/ML and data analytics to continuously improve a manufacturing environment

Experience with process modeling, workflow automation and statistical analysis software tools.

Experience with data and reporting tools.
