~~The Software Engineer at Vandenberg AFB, CA supporting the US Space Force (USSF) Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Launch Enterprise Directorate (SMC/ECL) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Contract designs and develops applications software and systems. Collaborates with hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs,, analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls,, designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
Expertise in designing and developing plans, processes, procedures, functional and data requirements analysis, system analysis, and documentation preparation for complex systems. Proven experience in all areas of software development life cycle phases including: requirements gathering and analysis; designing solutions and databases; developing, testing, and implementing products; training users, demonstrating products; performing maintenance and responding to service requests for supported software. Experience maintaining LVDB, Critical Data Management Applications (CDMAs), Change Problem Request (CPR) databases, and Stargate.

Problem Solving - Works to develop solutions on a variety of problems of increased scope and complexity. Might refer to policies and practices for guidance.
Discretion and Latitude - Works under general direction from supervision. Work is reviewed for judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
Impact - Accountable for completion of projects and goals. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would require some expenditure of resources to rectify or will cause delays in program schedules and result in the allocation of additional resources.
Liaison - Contacts are primarily internal to company or customer work site. Some inter-organizational and outside customer contacts
