BAE Systems is looking for an experienced, hands-on Software Engineer Lead. The qualified candidate will lead a multi-disciplinary team that worka in a rapid development environment. The qualified candidate should have experience with Java, C++, Web Services, XML and WSDL knowledge.
* Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status *Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technical discipline
- US Citizenship with an active Secret security clearance and ability to be granted a Top Secret/SCI security clearance by the Federal Government
- Experience in Java and C++
- Experience with Web Services, XML, WSDL
- Understanding and skills in software design and code, including Object Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD) and SOA
- Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment (e.g., open seating arrangement)
- Strong oral and written communications skill
- Some leadership experience leading a small team or the desire for leadership experience
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Knowledge of MSP, Photogrammetry and/or GXP
- Experience with Software Architectures (e.g., Web Services)
- Software Installation Development (InstallShield, InstallAnywhere)
- Experience with Software Systems Performance Analysis
- Experience with scripting and other languages (e.g., JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, JQuery, and/or PERL)
- Experience with database development tools and design (e.g., SQL Server)
- Experience with automated test tools
- Development tools and services (e.g., MS Visual Studio, Eclipse)
- User Interface development tools
- Configuration Management tools (e.g., Jira, Git, and/or Subversion)
- Familiarity with current Web UI frameworks such as Bootstrap
- Security+ Certification
