Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Data Analyst to be a lead contributor to our data analytics team in developing and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth and inform strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data system development, data system management, data analysis, data visualization, and data storytelling, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll oversee the development of mission-critical data analysis solutions for Next Generation Electronic Warfare Systems Products and Solutions. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute data analytics strategies to drive business outcomes and inform strategic decision-making
- Lead a team of data analysts and data scientists in designing, developing, deploying, and sustaining data analytics solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product managers, and engineers, to identify business needs, create clear problem definitions, and develop data-driven solutions
- Lead a team to design and implement data visualizations and reports to communicate insights and trends to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain relationships with data stakeholders, including data providers, data consumers, and external partners
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and make recommendations for adoption
- Manage and optimize data analytics workflows, including data ingestion, processing, and storage
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational data policies and procedures
- Mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential and advance in their careers
- Manage projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Foster a culture of transparency, ensuring that all team members have visibility into project goals, objectives, and outcomes
- Promote accountability, holding team members responsible for their actions and decisions
- Ensure that all development activities are properly documented and archived, upholding the principle of posterity
- Cultivating creative problem-solving skills, promoting experimentation, and exploring novel approaches to address complex challenges
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Experience: 8+ years of data system engineering, data analytics, data science, or related field
- Proven experience in leading projects for data engineering and data analysis
- Strong technical skills in data engineering, data analysis, data visualization, and data storytelling
- Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python or JavaScript
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Metabase
- Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, data quality, data security, and data literacy
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve high-performance results
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with machine learning, deep learning, or natural language processing
- Database design using SQL and or NoSQL based data management systems
- Certification in data analytics, data science, or related field (e.g., Certified Data Scientist, Certified Analytics Professional)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
