The Oracle eBS Business Systems Analyst will work closely with the Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain stakeholders in the business to accurately define and address problems and enhancements in a diverse manufacturing environment. Understand the business needs, processes, and rationale as well as how it fits into the overall enterprise. Act as a face of IT to the customer and the face of the customer to the Development teams and IT management. This position requires the knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) R12 Manufacturing (BOM, WIP, MRP, Inventory and MES), Quality and Purchasing and ability to interact with the business users and translate their needs into business and technical requirements.
- Provide operational support, troubleshoot defects, and resolve issues using various tools including internal documentation, MOS Knowledgebase, and interaction with Oracle Support.
- Create ad-hoc scripts to analyze data and support operational requests.
- Create ad-hoc scripts to help monitor schedule jobs / concurrent requests in relation to system performance
- Provide coordination of small projects to implement custom solutions, application changes, and Oracle patches/upgrades.
- Provide estimates on the impact and level of effort for requested changes.
- Gather requirements, analyze against available capabilities, and translate into technical specifications for solution design.
- Present alternative requirements for solution design and suggest improvements in business processes.
- Work with development team to ensure deliverables meet expectations, assist in solution development, and bug troubleshooting.
- Translate requirements into test scenarios and test scripts, conduct first-level unit testing, and support end-user testing.
- Create training materials and system documentation.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 6 Years + Oracle e-Business Suite R12 experience
- Bachelor Degree + 8 years work experience or equivalent education/experience
- Understanding of Oracle EBS functionality in use, including interfaced third-party systems.
- Functional knowledge of Oracle eBS Modules including MES, MRP, Inventory, BoM, WIP, Quality, Purchasing and Engineering / ECO.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Functional knowledge and experience with Orcale eBS modules ASCP, Order Management, Shipping and Depot Repair.
- Experience creating and maintaining Oracle eBS Quality Plans.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115100 - $195700
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
