Job Description Can you see in the dark? Our sensors can! In this role you will become an expert in designing systems for our latest sensors in order to highlight their low light capabilities. This involves understanding our sensors and how they operate at the analog and digital levels so as to best optimize schematic and layouts to achieve world class image performance. Your work will will enable the chip design teams and characterization group to test our sensors. It will also be used by our documentation group to help develop the datasheet and other collateral. Your board development work will help our sales and marketing teams to demonstrate our capabilities and explain technical subtleties of our sensors.
Responsibilities
Develop schematics for PC boards that demonstrate our superior imaging sensor capabilities.
Layout or assist in layout of these boards.
Work with image sensor designers to understand their issues and facilitate their product development.
Debug hardware issues and assist with chip and software debug.
Support usage of these designs by sensor designers, software, characterization, applications, and documentation teams.

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 10 years’ experience or equivalent in board level design and bring-up.
- Familiarity with schematic and PC board design tools.
- Experience with Altium a plus.
- Ability to work with others in a collaborative and collegial manner as well as a self-driven, self-motivated individual contributor depending on the task at hand.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possible travel to supplier or customer sites.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Altium schematic and layout familiarity.
- Image sensor experience, including low noise power supply design, sensor interfaces (LVDS, MIPI, etc.).
- Image J or similar software to inspect and check noise on images.
- Verilog design of FPGAs.
