Become part of our growing and dynamic Security Team! BAE Systems in Nashua, NH is looking to hire a Security Specialist to support the Electronic Systems Security Personnel Office - ensuring the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other applicable manuals are implemented and compliance is maintained. Support the ES Security Personnel Clearance Processing, ES Visitor Control and ES Special Programs Processing across the growing Sector. In this entry level Security Specialist I position you will make impacts in the following ways;
- Acquires, reviews, and processes to completion - Initial Clearances, 5 year clearance reinvestigations, reinstatements and clearance upgrades.
- Process ES New Hire's and Terminations - SIMS/DISS/NBIS
- Support and process PSQ's, Foreign Travel and reporting as per Special Program requirements
- Working knowledge of SIMS, DISS, eQIP/eAPP and NISS
- Manage and maintain ES SIMS, DISS and NBIS
- Maintain PERSEC Shared Area and PERSEC One Space
- Develops security plans to comply with existing directives and future requirements
- Provide/maintain monthly and quarterly metrics
- Maintain continuity plans relative to the PERSEC Office
- Professional demeanor, good people skills, ability to communicate effectively, performs in a multi-tasked environment
- Ability to manage time, make sound decisions, work independently, analyze problems and provide focused solutions.
- Additional duties as assigned
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Education; High School diploma and 2 or more years of related experience
- Must receive Interim SECRET eligibility within 3 months of start date
- Eligible for Top Secret Clearance
- Experience with the PC's and office software, good writing skills
- Working knowledge of SIMS, DISS, NBIS, EQIP, EAPP
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Decision making and reasoning skills
- Working knowledge of the 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and other related security manuals
- Must be organized and be able to work independently
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- Top Secret (TS) clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $50153 - $85251
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
