As a Rentals Coordinator, you will:
- Rent and maintain all necessary equipment to assist production in completion of naval ship contracts.
- Solicits RFQ’s and negotiate the procurement of direct/indirect material, rental equipment and services.
- Maintain rental database to track billing and all rented equipment for all active and past contracts.
- Attend daily meetings with management to minimize risks that impact the production schedule.
- Coordinate daily morning meetings with rental suppliers to review all equipment being utilized in the dry docks and assess any damages, maintenance requirements and swap-outs.
- Perform daily Inspection/walk through of all Rented equipment at BAE Systems shipyard, warehouse, and off-site locations to ensure proper use and equipment is up to BAE Systems standards.
- Attend weekly rental tracker meeting with project management team.
- Work with estimating department and providing new vendors and/or equipment to lower cost and keep BAE Systems as a competitor.
- Receive/process rental invoices for accounts payable and ensure proper billing with no discrepancies.
- Attend monthly meetings with vendors and accounts payable to review past due or discrepancy invoices.
- Work with vendors on newly awarded contracts to ensure vendor maintains their inventory.
- Escort all necessary vendor technicians’ onboard naval vessels for scheduled maintenance and upkeep of rented equipment.
- Assist training center on providing the necessary rented equipment for the monthly onsite forklift/aerial certification class for BAE Systems employees.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant work experience or equivalent experience
- Computer literate, must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of SREP and CostPoint or similar
- Must have experience dealing with invoicing and processing of payments
- Experience with coordinating rental equipment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DBIDS
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $64130 - $109010
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
