We're seeking an experienced and motivated Leader to oversee a team of Project Support personnel, including project coordinators and administrative assistants, who provide critical support to our engineering development projects and teams. This role will be based at our Cedar Rapids site and offer opportunities for collaboration across the Navigation and Sensor Systems organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct a team of 12-20 engineering support personnel, including project coordinators and administrative assistants, to ensure seamless support for engineering projects and teams.
- Oversee staffing, development, performance management, work plans, and employee relations, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Identify and address development needs, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure the team has the skills and expertise required to excel.
- Foster collaboration within the team and across the organization to ensure compliance with processes and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and business development teams to drive business outcomes.
- Uphold the team culture by promoting integrity, ethics, and trust, and address personnel issues in partnership with Human Resources as needed.
- Provide resources and support to multiple engineering projects, ensuring the right skills and expertise are in place to meet program-specific needs.
- Streamline administrative tasks and eliminate non-essential work from engineering groups, enabling engineers to focus on technical work by assigning trained project coordinators to support them.
- Ensure the team adheres to company processes and procedures, and lead or participate in special projects as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business or similar discipline
6+ years of professional experience in engineering, leadership or similar environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and Office suite.
Ability to obtain a DOD security clearance
US citizenship required
Strong leadership and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $105254 - $178931
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
