Job Description
Help support the warfighter by joining BAE Systems, Inc and working with the United States Air Force. BAE Systems, Inc. is offering an exciting opportunity to become a Project Analyst (Scheduler). This position is for an experienced level program scheduler. The position will be located on Hill Air Force Base and supports the efforts of the ICBM System Program Office. Schedulers are responsible to the Program Manager for developing and maintaining the program schedule as well as integrating contractor schedules into the overarching Enterprise Integrated Master Schedule. Schedulers will assist teams in developing lower level schedules and coordinating all changes and updates with respective leadership positions. Other duties include timely updating and reporting of the program schedule, analysis of schedule impacts and delays and associated work-around or recovery plans, and baseline maintenance and control. Position will also be eligible for mostly remote tele-working.
What You Will Do:
Perform tasks across the Project Management processes of initiating, organizing, integrating, planning, managing & controlling, developing and completing projects or programs.
Track progress to, schedule, technical and/or new business performance objectives.
Produce monthly reports derived from your schedule analysis.
Be innovative with established processes and reports that will better serve the customer.
May support new business development activities and participate in developing strategic and financial plans for assigned business area.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Knowledge of best scheduling practices and principles
Primavera P6 Scheduling tool experience
Microsoft Project experience
Experience with Deltek Acumen Fuse
Understanding of schedule analysis
Knowledge of CPM
Experience with Microsoft suite
Relationship oriented (team and customer)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Developing Work Breakdown Structures in accordance with Mil Std. 881-D
Managing schedules in an enterprise environment
Active clearance
PMP certification
Knowledge of DOD Acquisition Processes
Familiarity working with military/gov. customer
Experience using and developing Macros
