Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for a qualified Systems Engineer to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting sustaining efforts for the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile weapon system at the Strategic Missile Integration Complex (SMIC). The SMIC is a world-class Test and Evaluation facility that is used to test nuclear and ballistic missile systems by simulating missile squadrons. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a highly-skilled team that researches, upgrades, designs, builds and tests missile test equipment and supporting systems.
The ICBM System Program Office must ensure a safe, secure, and reliable Minuteman III weapon system as required by the war fighter (Air Force Global Strike Command) through 2040.
The position is located at Hill AFB, Utah. US citizenship status is required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
7+ years (5+ with a Master's degree) of related experience
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. Degrees in other engineering disciplines as Mechanical, Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, etc. from an accredited program with the right skill-set will also be considered.
Excellent cognitive, communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills.
Must also be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements. You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance.
Effective oral and written communication skills with customers, suppliers, and company personnel.
Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of integrity, even under pressure.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Minuteman III Weapon System and/or SMIC Systems Experience.
Technical experience in product development, system modeling and project management.
Attention to detail, including good time management and organization skills.
Experience creating professional documents, presentations and spreadsheets with MS Office.
Computer programming experience. (Python, LabVIEW, VBA, C/C++ experience a plus).
Possess a current Secret security clearance or higher.
