We need you to help us make history. Our new 83,000 square foot facility will provide you a state-of-the-art environment to ply your trade. We need your talent, motivation, vision, character and experience as a Principal Software Engineer to join Precision Strike & Sensing Solutions’ growing workforce here in Cummings Research Park. We build and integrate state-of-the-art imaging, targeting, and guidance products. These products contain software, complex software that must be designed right the first time and built efficiently and correctly. Why? Because a soldier’s life may very well depend on it. Here is what some of your work will include:
- Designing, implementing and improving complex software for real-time, embedded engineered systems
- Guidance software that seeks out the equipment of those who would do us harm
- You will use modern, object-oriented software principles in design and implementation
- Your approach will be agile and forward-thinking
- Disruption is allowed
- You will leverage high-level programming languages
- Your work will involve full software lifecycle activities from cradle to grave
Required Skills and Education
- Strong problem-solving skills that translate to working, maintainable software
- High-level language proficiency in one or more of these: C/C++, Ada, Python
- Multiple operating system exposure including Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems
- Foundation in object-oriented design and implementation principles
- Embedded system development
- Experience using software tools like Jira and BitBucket
- Automated software test development

What We Offer+ Warrior Integration Program (Est. 2008)
This program was created to assist in the employment, transition, education, and development of wounded warriors.
