Job Description BAE Systems, Inc. is seeking an Integration Engineer with Mulesoft and/or web Methods system integration skills for our growing Enterprise Integration Services team. This position will support an area of strategic growth within our IT organization and offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of highly-skilled integration professionals, while collaborating with multiple architecture and infrastructure support functions to support all lines of business across the company.
Responsibilities Include:
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle for integration solutions implemented in both the on-premise webMethods integration platform and Mulesoft IPaaS platform.
- Administer and support the integration platforms across all environments
- Support issue identification, troubleshooting, and resolution related to the integration platforms as well as infrastructure components (operating systems, network, database, virtual storage, etc) on which the integration platforms are dependent
- Triage and troubleshoot Production incidents and keep customers updated on status and/or resolution and perform root cause analysis (RCA) on major Production incidents
- Support integration testing and customer acceptance testing
- Collaborate with integration team members, infrastructure teams, and extended application teams as required to administer and support the platforms
- Setup of secure connectivity and authentication with both internal and external (Cloud/SaaS) systems
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate O&M operations, support, and maintenance processes
- Deployment of integration solutions through development, test and production environments
- Perform compliance-related IT Controls reviews
- Maintain and document the configuration of all integration tools to ensure optimal functionality, security, performance, and scalability
- Document and maintain knowledge base support articles
- Support of integrated application maintenance activities
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience working with software (installation, configuration management, development, etc.)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in system/application integration
- Minimum 3 years of experience working full time with a COTS integration solution – webMethods and/or Mulesoft
- Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps
- Experience in full SDLC of integration solutions
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Familiarity with UNIX based operating systems and ability to develop and debug simple shell scripts
- Experience in designing and supporting integration solutions involving on-premise and cloud components
- Understanding of different security protocols and ability to communicate with partners to reach agreed design for authentication and authorization for solutions
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $91980 - $156330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
