BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team of professionals as a Compass Call Prime Mission Equipment (PME) Lead for the EA-37B Weapon System. The candidate will serve as the PME lead over back shop, flight line, engineering and training operations supporting EA-37B activities. The candidate will also manage providing technical support to the USAF on the current EC-130H platform and component repair on select Prime Mission Equipment. The candidate will be expected to have in-depth knowledge in Air Force maintenance methodologies that support war-fighter operations, strong leadership/management skills and report to the CLS Site Lead for day-to-day operations.
Additional responsibilities include the following:
- Able to interpret Performance Work Statement requirements and establish local policies, procedures to meet those requirements.
- Manage manpower requirements for the PME team
- Manage PME personnel schedules (TDYs, Deployments, home station, test support)
- Support CLS Site Lead and Repair Station Manager
- Define PME Flight line/Back shop/Engineering/Training technical skillsets and needs
- Work with other CLS section leads (Logistics, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Training, Production) to provide input into overall CLS organization and ensure cohesiveness to achieve program objectives
- Familiar with and able to understand technical issues and brief internal/external management
- Able to develop presentations and brief status/plans for program events to internal/external management
- Ability to read and follow requirements, engineering drawings and test procedures
- Oversee and manage the PME team to accomplish ON/OFF Equipment maintenance and training to perform:
- Preflight activities
- Line Replaceable Unit Maintenance
- PME System Start Up/Shutdown
- Built In Test (BIT) knowledge
- BIT execution
- BIT results interpretation
- System alignments
- System troubleshooting and repair
- System scheduled maintenance
- Following Air Force and engineering Job guides and manuals
- Provide Input and recommendations for Technical Documents
- Interface with engineers as required to identify, report, and resolve issues in the field

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location 100% of the time.

- Anticipate Deployment Travel up to 25% and local/stateside travel up to 10%
- Eligible to obtain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance, within a reasonable amount of time, determined by business need (US Citizenship required)
- Bachelor’s Degree or 10 or more years of related work experience including significant experience with Compass Call
- Must possess strong Organizational and Intermediate EW, RF, and electrical troubleshooting, maintenance and fault isolation abilities
- Knowledgeable in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill sets to convey information, explain issues, and accomplish training objectives
- Proven ability to lead and manage large teams towards common goals and drive change as needed
- Understanding of Systems Engineering and Configuration Management Requirements
- Understanding of Cyber Security policies and intent
- Experience with handling COMSEC
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Highly desired skill/experience:
- Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance
- Experience with Compass Call Weapon System and able to become proficient in future Baseline operations
- Experience as a Compass Call Combat Systems Electronics Technician, Component Repair and/or Field Service Representative
- Proficient in the operation of Test equipment, such as: Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Oscilloscopes
- Experienced in RF Cable repair, multi-pin cable termination, system alignments, circuit card soldering
- Able to lift 30 pounds and work on Military Aircraft
- Knowledge of the Air Force Maintenance organization and Component Repair Operations
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115100 - $195700
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
