We are looking for entry level candidates or junior level developers to join our PLM(Product Lifecycle Management) development engineering team here at BAE Systems. You are exposed to the full software life-cycle, from requirements development thru integration and testing.

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
Candidates will gain experience in:
Designing, developing and testing software solutions utilizing Agile methodologies and sound software engineering principles while adhering to existing code development strategies and processes.
Knowledge of supporting and developing with the Windchill PLM system by PTC.
Assisting in other software engineering activities such as integration testing, software troubleshooting,
and preparing documentation in accordance with established procedures.
Utilizing either Windows PC or Linux based software development environment and test environments.

Required Skills and Education:
Proactive attitude and the desire to be a productive member of a world class team.
Willingness to learn new technologies.
5 years of experience in a technical discipline.
Experience in direct customer support and service. (preferably in I.T. service)
Strong Customer Service Skill & Awareness.
Strong communication skills.

Required Skills and Education
Windchill system administration
Basic Linux skills; Bsh or Csh scripting experience
Basic SQL experience and Oracle and/or SQL server skills
Basic Network TCP/IP knowledge and understanding of http protocol.
Experience with web servers IIS or Apache
