Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional, Principal Systems Engineer for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM).
The MBSE Systems Engineer will be responsible for the following systems engineering duties:
Recommending modeling approaches for requirements, operational architecture, functional architecture, and physical architecture
Performing modeling using Cameo with SysML and UPDM
Verifying the correctness of models
Interacting with the Government customer
Supporting new business pursuits and initiatives as requested
The Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Program is an enormous and complex “Mega-Project” modernizing the entire ICBM weapon system deployed across tens of thousands of square miles in five states. It includes a complete refurbishment of hundreds of aging Minuteman III ICBM facilities to secure and support a newly designed, technologically advanced ballistic missile. It will also provide an entirely new command and control system as well as vast array of required support equipment specifically engineered to operate and sustain the new weapon system over the decades ahead.
Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires US Citizenship status.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Physics, Science, or ABET-accredited program
1-2 years of experience with systems engineering (academic experience or coursework is acceptable)
Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
Exposure to Cameo/MagicDraw, SysML, UPDM, and DOORS
Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance with SAP
Demonstrated self-discipline to plan and prioritize their own work
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physics, Science, Systems Engineering, or ABET-accredited program
Familiarity with Cameo/MagicDraw, SysML, UPDM, and DOORS
Active US DoD Security Clearance
INCOSE CSEP or ESEP professional certification
OMG OCSMP Model User professional certification, or higher
ICBM Weapon System experience
