BAE Systems is looking for a Material & Process Engineer with a passion for materials and the desire to work in the world of Microelectronics. As a part of this team, you will have responsibilities spanning all phases of the engineering lifecycle including material selection, research and development, process development, qualification, failure analysis and factory support.
- Support research and development to develop new build processes
- Support process development for microelectronic assemblies and engineering build efforts
- Support qualification efforts for microelectronic packages and 2nd level interconnect
- Aid in material selection for microelectronic assemblies and identify alternatives
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to support the design, development and transition of microelectronic packages to production
- Support failure analysis of microelectronic assemblies and formulate corrective actions
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline and 2 years work experience
- US Citizenship is required
- Must be capable of obtaining a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Prefer candidates with degree in Material Engineering
- Experience in Microelectronic Packaging or with Microelectronic materials/processes
- Experience in Failure Analysis
- Experience with 2nd level interconnect testing
- DoD Secret Clearance
- Ability to work well with a diverse team

What We Offer+ Warrior Integration Program (Est. 2008)
