As a Material Planning Coordinator III, you will prepare, issue, and control production schedules. Within this role, you will be responsible for coordinating material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. In addition, you will provide status updates to internal customers of work in progress, material availability, and potential production barriers.
You will also:
- Organize, monitor, and control the timely flow of external or internal material through the warehouse and facility to support both internal and/or external customer delivery requirements.
- Serve as the primary interface between Production Management, Manufacturing first line supervision, Material planners, material handling/Inventory Management, Final Processing Production personnel, as well as interfacing with Floor Support Engineering and Quality.
- Transact and manage daily replenishment levels for work centers in accordance with MRP for assigned production areas, and master schedule.
- Collaborate with floor support engineering, quality control, technicians, programs, and operations supervision to assess material needs.
- Provide status of assigned Programs from the time of initial job release through delivery of product to internal customers.
- Manage floor stock inventory control and mitigate material shortages as they relate to open production orders.
- Cross train with Material Planning Coordinator IV’s to serve as backup.
- Other duties as assigned to assist the materials department.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- HS and/or GED with associate degree in a technical or business-related discipline or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Manufacturing/Production Operations, MRP, Materials Planning, Inventory Control and/or Supply Chain.
- General administrative duties supporting, preparing, and monitoring material schedules with production schedules.
- Basic understanding of MRP fundamentals and ability to use metrics.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word and Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Associates, or bachelor’s degree in a technical or business/supply chain related discipline.
- 5+ years of Materials/Manufacturing experience in a fast-paced work environment.
- 2+ years Material Coordinating background.
- 2+ years of Material Planning Experience.
- Experience in Defense, Aerospace, Combat Vehicle product development and/or manufacturing work environment.
- Oracle Experience.
- Lean Manufacturing Experience.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $51086 - $81738
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
