Job Description Take advantage in this career-enhancing opportunity by joining the highly successfully Integration Support Contract providing sustainment and acquisition expertise to the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Warhead Office at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. The selected individual will be responsible for assisting the USAF Lead Project Office (LPO) in the following areas:
- LPO Operations Support in which you will assist subgroup chairs in developing, coordinating, and implementing document change request packages for primary ICBM WH requirement documents to include, but not limited to Military capability (MC) documents, Stockpile to Target Sequence (STS) documents, Interface Control Documents (ICD), Joint Integrated Master Plan (JIMP) documents, and Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) documents;
- In support of the ICBM WH POG subgroups and associated working groups, the contractor shall support preparation and delivery of LPO briefings, reports and engineering & technical efforts, and;
- correspond with internal and external USAF, DOD, as well as DOE organizations in support of meeting material development. The contractor shall assist ICBM Warhead team members, and provide technical input on program status and documentation requirements to support Executive Project Officers Group meetings and decisions.
- LPO Sustainment support as routine day-to-day sustainment type efforts associated with assessment and on-going review of the LPO mission objectives. These efforts involve technical, engineering, and programmatic support, test planning; and systems integration recommendations. While the topic areas and tasks may vary within the sustainment environment, the level of support is anticipated to be consistent with the operation and maintenance of a mature legacy weapon system.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Seven year's progressive technical experience. Five year's experience with MS. 5-8 years experience in nuclear stockpile stewardship activities. Five year's experience in related operations research.
Skilled in small team dynamic and ability to align rapidly to changing customer requirements.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills BS/MS in technical area and nuclear weapons support activities at USAF or NNSA. MS Office suite skills.
