Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Logistics Analyst to:
* Provide support for Commercial Avionics and Engine Control Programs in Endicott, New York and Fort Wayne, Indiana.
* Assist the Product Support Engineering team with tasks such as costing, scheduling, and technical documentation.
* Collaborate with team members to prepare, maintain, and revise technical documentation.
* Act as a liaison between the Product Support Engineering team and other departments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in evaluating Commercial Product Support Agreement (PSA) and Customer Support Agreement (CSA) requirements for ILS compliance.
- Support the development of formal Product Training plans, materials, and Instructor/Classroom training.
- Contribute to the development of technical manual development plans, materials development, verification, and validations for programs supported.
- Ensure that Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) are properly documented and addressed.
- Develop and maintain good internal and external customer relations on assigned programs.
- Implement and follow company policies and procedures for ILS design/support responsibility.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of ILS processes and ensure compliance with company-approved quality management techniques.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Associate's Degree or equivalent in a technical or scientific field.
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics engineering or related engineering disciplines (i.e., reliability, maintainability, safety, field engineering).
- Familiarity with MS Office tools and personal computers.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings, related change documentation, and configuration management.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or scientific field.
- Experience with logistics engineering or related engineering disciplines.
- Familiarity with BAE Systems test equipment or Commercial Electronics products.
- Basic knowledge of technical publications process and ATA specifications.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $50268 - $85455
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
