Job Description Duties and Responsibilities:
Understands and can demonstrate anchoring disassembly/assemble skills
Lead material movement of sensitive electronic equipment
Lead a team in removal/installation of shafts, blades, hubs, pumps, and valve
Read and interpret prints and schematics
Serve as the lead the team as needed in the absence of Foreman
Serve as the lead on large projects
Perform complex rigging with gantries, overhead rigging, and critical lifts
Rig with large crane (up to 350 ton cranes)
Understands offloading and on loading of oversize/overweight loads
Ability to create Pre-Task plans and JHA's
Provide necessary tools for to perform the job
Understand and demonstrate how to move up to 50,000 lb. items
Assist management in creating new policies and procedures
Perform moves up to 150,000 lb.
Heavy cutting/welding/fabrication responsibilities
Perform job walks with safety technicians
Solve complex rigging problems
Assist in training other team members
Capable of estimating hours and materials for large projects.
Ability to understand and follow schedules outlined in an electronic format.
Track timekeeping for riggers under their guidance Required Skills and Education Professional Skills:
Ability to work independently
Ability to speak with Government officials, Safety technicians, and Managers regarding the complex tasks being preformed
Physical Requirements & working Conditions:
Performing General Physical Activities - Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work in a highly functioning team environment. Display the highest levels of honesty integrity and professionalism. Follow and enforce company core values. Communicate openly and strive for peak performance in daily tasks. Understand and provide the quality that customers have come to expect.Preferred Skills and Education High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Valid Driver's License
A minimum of five (5) years of Rigging experience or comparable experience preferably within the ship repair industry.

What We Offer+ Warrior Integration Program (Est. 2008)
