Job Description This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three days each scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

BAE is looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage technology projects within our Information Technology Organization· The PM will be responsible for end to end execution of IT projects; IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, compliance projects on the cloud or on-premises. The PM will work collaboratively with IT leadership and internal customers to establish project portfolio and prioritize within that portfolio for execution.
The candidate will have strong project management experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects. The candidate will be leading programs and projects through the project lifecycle including Planning and Analysis, Execution, Delivery, Stabilization and Benefit Realization. The candidate must be able to provide critical and project status updates including project portfolio alignment, project execution performance, and business sponsor success criteria.
Project management experience is required which includes:
- Business case development
- Effective design and development project execution strategies
- Cross functional team integration, dependency identification & tracking
- Develop solutions to complex problems which require use of ingenuity, innovation and robust design
- Management of requirements, priorities and alignment with organizational objectives & success criteria
- Work breakdown structure, effort estimation, resource loaded schedule management and execution to the strategy/plan
- Proactive risk identification and mitigation
- Resource management including guiding and motivating team members
- Cost breakdown structure, cost estimation, cost management throughout the project lifecycle including management of cost overrun/underrun
- Vendor relationship management including working with third-party systems integrators
- Organizational change management, communication, training, stakeholder engagement, enablement
The candidate shall be highly customer focused, meeting customer expectation and responsive to feedback. The candidate shall leverage servant leadership, emotional intelligence, strong communication and decision-making skills to navigate effectively across all functional areas and organizational levels.Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years work experience.
- Ability to scope, manage, execute, and deliver on multiple small to medium, complex IT projects simultaneously.
- Strong ability to manage 5–10-member cross-functional project teams through a matrixed project structure.
- Experience supporting senior project managers and program managers on more complex project teams.
- Experience with agile project execution, release agility.
- Experience leading projects through business-wide governance processes including developing deliverables and serving as consultant to management on matters pertaining to the process.
- Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems and ensures solutions are consistent with organizational objectives.
- Experience in developing change management plans detailing scope, budget, and resource effects to scope changes.
- Ability to proactively identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Project finance management experience including basic understanding of Earned Value Management concepts.
- Ability to develop and conduct executive-level status briefings with strong presentation skills.
- Learning agility, relentless improvement mindset
- Ability to work independently and perform job functions with little direct supervision.
- Expertise in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Agile Certification
- Aerospace & Defense industry experience
- Earned Value Management experience
- ServiceNow SPM experience
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
