We are seeking an IT Cloud Program Manager to support the Air and Space Force Solutions (ASFS) Strategic Systems Information Services team. As the Cloud PM, you will lead a core team that develops and maintains an advanced cloud environment. You will innovate and identify opportunities for improvement and automation as well as advance agile and secure solutions. You will also collaborate with our customer and partners to maintain a multi-disciplinary focus for this large-scale project.

Responsibilities include:
Manage, coordinate, plan, control, and execute the program and related project(s) and ensure the achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives
Meet often with primary contacts within the government to understand needs and direction of the program
Assist customers in the development of current and future program requirements. Evaluate plans and criteria for technical activities and recommending alternatives as required to comply with customer and company obligations
Model and demonstrate strong leadership in ethics, safety and security. Interface with finance, contracts, and subcontracts managers, as well as senior leadership. Coordinate input for contract modifications and participate in subsequent negotiations
Clearly communicate job expectations by planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching and counseling employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities. Direct work assignments and scheduling
Maintain a safe and healthy working environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards; adhering to legal regulations. Write and modify program policies. Manage risks and opportunities. Ensure best practices are followed
Attend conferences and meetings to represent assigned activity
Apply Systems Engineering principles in the development of strategic plans meeting customer requirements ensuring network availability to meet program objectives and system capability to efficiently meet customer needs
Direct, integrate, manage, and track program and project activities, including segments of major projects. Prepare program roadmaps, project execution plans and identify technical and business resources needed
Identify technology opportunities and coordinate system and application strategies. Make strategic decisions in a fast paced environment
Review status of projects, manage schedules and prepare status reports. Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives. Provide program management, technical and analytical guidance to project team
Perform other duties as assigned
The position requires technical knowledge of systems, networks, and application security as well as a solid understanding of enterprise-level security frameworks, policies, processes, and standards. The candidate must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires an active final Secret clearance upon hire date. The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. An active Top Secret clearance is preferred. The criteria for clearance is set by the US Government.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required education, experience, and skills:
BS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent industry experience
10+ years relative experience with a Bachelors or 8+ years with a Master’s Degree
Experience with Public Cloud products including Amazon Web Services
Experience working in a software application development environment
Experience with CI/CD automation tools and components
Knowledge of container, cloud native platforms like Docker/Kubernetes
Understanding of networking principles
Experience supervising others
Strong ethics in the context of business and information security
Experience managing solutions in virtual environments
Experience infrastructure and application solutions
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Fast learner with ability to quickly comprehend technology and understand unique system requirements.
This position requires an active final Secret clearance upon hire date. The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. An active Top Secret clearance is preferred. The criteria for clearance is set by the US Government.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Preferred skills include experience with the following:
- Expertise integrating across AWS Cloud Services and other DevOps work
- Experience with scaling online services
- Experience reviewing security scans and remediating vulnerabilities
- Familiarity with “Infrastructure as Code” and related technologies
- Experience supporting production systems and collaborative problem solving
- Knowledge and understanding of AWS services for SaaS products, including but not limited to VPC, EC2, Containers, S3, ELB, RDS, Route53, Cloud Formation, Cloud Watch, WAF, HSM/KMS, IAM, Code Commit, Code Deploy, Code Pipeline, Elastic Bean Stalk, Cloud Trail, API Gateways and other Amazon AWS development and management tools. AWS certifications are a plus.
- Exposure or experience with new infrastructure approaches
- Exposure or experience with cloud or systems management and business continuity.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and issues to non technical leaders and users
- Ability to present complex and challenging information to executives
- MS Degree
- DoD 8570 - IAT Level II or higher certification
