Join BAE Systems' Air & Space Force Solutions and be part of a diverse and enthusiastic team who solves some of the world's most complex technical challenges. There is never a dull moment on this strategic effort, a cornerstone for the nation’s security! The 'Sentinel' Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Program will replace the aging Minuteman III (MMIII) ICBM, the first of its kind in over 50 years. This program is considered a “mega-project” and one of the most complex in the history of the Department of Defense. The new ICBM weapon system acquisition effort brings with it the newest digital engineering tools and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices to meet existing warfighter requirements, while having the adaptability and flexibility to affordably address changing technology and threat environments through 2075.
As part of the U.S. Air Force's Integration Support Contract (ISC), BAE Systems provides Advisory and Assistance Services in the areas of engineering, logistics, management, scientific analysis, and other subject matter expertise to augment and optimize management of the Sentinel ICBM Prime Contractor.
The Role
BAE Systems is looking for a Program Manager to support Minuteman III to Sentinel transition and deployment activities accountable to the Integration Support Contract's (ISC) Sentinel Infrastructure and Deployment Division. Daily responsibilities include supporting the Sentinel Government and Support Contract team in the creation, review, assessment of documents, and briefings, Deployment modeling analysis, and various other tasks in support of the transition from Minuteman III to Sentinel. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Microsoft Office programs; ensure accuracy and completeness of content, recommending corrective actions and providing support to programmatic and technical briefings, reports and other related documentation; and be able to facilitate and execute internal and external meetings to support the program and represent Transition and Deployment in working groups with government customers and outside agencies. In addition, the ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Weapon System and be fluent in Minuteman III maintenance and/or operations.
