BAE Systems is seeking an Analyst to join the Government Compliance team within the Finance organization. In this role you will:
- Assist in the preparation of the annual incurred cost proposal
- Respond to requests for information from the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), or other government agencies in support of ongoing audits with the ability to research, interpret, and understand regulations to support the company’s position
- Support financial and operational audits by examining accounting records
- Perform analyses of compliance matters
- Analyze transactional data
- Assist the Labor Compliance team with labor transfers while ensuring compliance with Government regulations and contract requirements
- Assist in compliance surveillance activities such as labor qualification contract reviews and other activities as required
- Maintain appropriate records and documentation to support government compliance activities including desktop procedures
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (or comparable) and six or more years experience
- Strong experience in government contracting finance or accounting and firm understanding of FAR, DFARS, and CAS
- Experience in preparing and auditing DCAA incurred cost proposals
- Demonstrated understanding of various contract types (cost reimbursement, firm fixed price, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and above-average Microsoft Suite skills; especially Excel
- Ability to gain an understanding of the business process to drive solutions for improvements
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement
- Excellent planning, time management, organization, and presentation skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $99410 - $168997
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
