Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team at BAE. As a Financial Management Specialist, you will provide financial guidance and support to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with Fiscal Laws and Policies. You will administer the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) system, provide decision support and financial reporting, and ensure the integrity of financial data within government accounting and information systems. This job is consdiered 100% onsite; however, some telework will be available per customer/mission allowance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Administer the PPBE system for assigned MMIII divisions, providing financial guidance and support to stakeholders
· Assist with planning, programming, documenting, and justifying division requirements, ensuring compliance with fiscal laws and funding policies
· Assist with formulating, documenting, and justifying division program budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidance
· Assist with executing current year funds, including reviewing and coordinating on new start validation forms, funding documents, and obligation forecasts
· Assist with monitoring and controlling administrative limitations and ceilings, ensuring compliance with fiscal laws and funding policies
· Assist with analyzing fund execution, identifying potential funding sources, and preparing funding recommendations reports
· Assist with expired fund management, including searching for potential unneeded funding and submitting expiring funds reports
· Assist with fiscal year closeout, ensuring that obligation forecasts meet OSD goals and are ultimately 100% obligated prior to fund expiration
· Provide decision support and reporting, including preparing financial status reports, advising on financial impacts, and providing training and training aids on financial management topics
· Assist with accounting functions, including submitting address builds, performing CCaR reconciliations, and ensuring the quality of CCaR records

Required Education, Experience, & Skills · Experience with government accounting and information systems (CCaR)
· Knowledge of fiscal laws and funding policies, including Purpose Statute, Bona Fide Needs Rule, Anti-Deficiency Act, Full Funding Policy, Incremental Funding Policy, and Annual Funding Policy
· Excellent communication and analytical skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and government accounting and information systems
· Experience with budget analysis, financial reporting, and decision support
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills · Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
· Experience working with government agencies, including the Department of Defense
· Knowledge of defense acquisition and procurement regulations and policies
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66400 - $112880
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
