Field Service Tech III

Job Description

• Responding to associate service calls to troubleshoot the nature of reported problems and take necessary steps to resolve those problems;
• Build and configure PCs and laptops as well as loading software;
• Trace cabling between workstations and communication closets ;
• Performs other related duties as assigned;
• Demonstrate customer service and technical knowledge gained from prior experience, to resolve issues surrounding installation, usage, and training on software and/or hardware products.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• High School Diploma with 2+ years’ experience
• CompTIA Network+ and A+ Certified or equivalent experience
• Required Skills to include Troubleshooting skills for applications running on windows based platform (office, browsers, printers, etc.)
• Experience with HP/Dell laptops, tablets and desktops running Windows 10 and Windows 11
• Experience with Microsoft server software
• Experience troubleshooting Network connections while working with a remote team.
• Experience with packet capture (Wire Shark, ETC)
• Experience with Microsoft AD
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge in Asset Management

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Proven experience in an administrative and support role;
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
• Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communications skills;
• Ability to successfully prioritize service issues based on multiple competing objectives
• Ability to routinely multitask and reassign priorities;
• Ability to exert energy up to 20 pounds of force occasionally or an eligible amount of force to lift, carry, push or pull objects;
• Ability to be mobile to provide support throughout the facility and offsite offices.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $56195 - $89912

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
