We are looking for a high energy technically savvy IT professional who can be the face to the customer for our F35 training system enterprise.
This position will work together with employees from multiple companies, in support of F-35 maintenance training at Eglin AFB, Florida’s Academic Training Center (ATC). Additionally, they will work closely with the Tier 1 foreign partners, the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JSFPO), as well as all US and non-US customers.
The role will provide direct customer support for the F-35 Training System Support Center (TSSC) – Integrated Product Support (IPS) team. It will provide Training Infrastructure Systems (TIS) engineering expertise to the TSSC Classified Operating Environment (COE) and Unclassified Operating Environment (UOE).
More specifically, this position will be the central point of contact for F35 enterprise training facilities who have system discrepancies. It will interact with system administrators across the enterprise as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to define problems, conduct research, and analyze criteria related to various engineering fields. The position will integrate training system software updates into the TIS and will triage Training System Problems to prioritize work based on system impacts.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills A Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of related Experience OR an Associate’s Degree and 4+ years of related experience OR a High School Diploma/GED and 6+ years of related experience
Candidates must have a Final Transferable Secret security clearance
Candidate must be willing to support flexible work hours to align with customer operational schedule
Candidate must have a current CompTIA Security+ certification or able to acquire a CompTIA Security+ certification within 6 months of hire date
Strong technical writing and verbal communications skills
Experience with customer service including remote support for disconnected systems
Excellent cognitive, communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills.
Experience with MS Office applications• Training System experience with instructional products and services
Understanding of the importance of risk management and engineering within a process-oriented environment.
3+ years of professional experience with implementation and troubleshooting, involving computer hardware and software
Experience with Microsoft Windows Active Directory Group Policy, Windows Server Administration.
