Job Description This position is for an F-35 Inspection Time Compliance Technical Directives (TCTDs) Authoring Team Lead. The role will be located at the customer site in Ft Worth, Texas.

This is a team lead position. Candidate will provide technical expertise and support in the development, planning, and implementing of Immediate, Urgent, Safety and Routine Inspection TCTD’s in accordance with 2YZA02393, Production Asset Inspection Requirements (PAIRs) and SOI 1514.01, TCTD Authoring
Developing inspection TCTDs containing the necessary planning elements (engineering scope, inspection, repair and/or replacement procedures, team size, skill composition, equipment tooling assessment, maintenance level, TCTD authoring assessment, and out of service times)
Support change integration through Engineering and Sustainment PAIR Boards review/approval cycle. Review to include engineering and procedural direction as well as a change request sustainability assessment based on purposed life limits.

Provide One Time Inspection solutions
Developing Immediate, Urgent, Safety and Routine One-Time inspection / repair solutions / TCTDs IAW:
Government Furnished Instructions (GFI)
Notice of Escapes (NOE)
Forced Retrofit
Fast Track Change Requests (CR)

One-time Inspection TCTDs (Not PAIR Driven)
Quarterly PAIR baselines
Analytical Condition Inspections (ACI)
Part Number/Serial Number Verifications

Assessing, providing engineering actions and approving of Production Asset Inspection Requirements (PAIR)
Assessing all Routine PAIRs for MOD sustainability prior to PAIR approvals
Assessment to include:
Modification scheduling within PAIR life limits
MOD TCTD delivery dates
Part/Kit Availability
Special Tooling Availability

One Time Inspection TCTDs properly developed and coordinated amongst required stakeholders to include:
Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Supply Chain, applicable Integrated Product Teams (IPT’s), and teaming partners BAE Systems and Northrop Grumman.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills B.S. in Aerospace, Engineering, Aviation Mgt, or related technical field with a minimum of 6 yrs related experience. Education requirement may be waived based on specific / related job experience.

F-35 program experience highly desired
US military aircraft maintenance / maintenance management
Eligible US security clearance
Experience utilizing F-35 tools such as: JTD, PDM, JDL, VAS, Atlas, LDM, Vista, etc...
Full complements of MS Office tools

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience with Lean / Six Sigma concepts
