Job Description This is a cooperative education position for talented students pursing a career in the field of engineering, computer science or related field and wish to gain hands-on experience to complement their interests. The selected intern will be assigned to governance and process projects and/or other technical roles consistent with the level of education and experience of the individual candidate. In this capacity, the intern will work under the guidance of a mentor to learn the necessary skills specific to BAE Systems.
The duties of an intern could include but may not be limited to data analytics, database development, testing, report generation, web-site creation/updates, scheduling, troubleshooting, problem investigation or documentation.

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of both on-site and virtual to support the program assigned.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- The candidate must be enrolled in a four or five year technical degree program, preferably in engineering or computer science, e.g., website development, familiarity with current computer applications (MS Office Suite), data analysis, creation of on-line training modules, communication packages, etc.
- The student should have completed their senior year of High School by Summer 2024

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Preferred candidates would be in their Freshman or Sophomore years
- Degree focus in one of the following programs:
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- WiT or FOCUS program participant
- Familiarity with Engineering process methodologies
- Group project experience
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Passion to learn
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $41140 - $57217
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
