Job Description Full-time onsite:
- Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

We are looking for someone with electronics experience to join our Test Sustainment team in our manufacturing areas.

The candidate must demonstrate strong technical aptitude, communication skills, and be able to work cross-functionally within the operations organization and with other disciplines / functions. The Test Sustainment team are the first responders for automated test equipment in the factory and have the responsibility to ensure test equipment is up and running. This position includes the following activities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on test stations
- Certify test stations.
- Troubleshoot and repair test stations.
- Order parts needed to maintain equipment.
- Remove / replace calibrated equipment.
- Assist in Quality audits.
- Work with various functions to resolve issues and perform Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) activities.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 4 years of Electronics troubleshooting / repair
- Understanding and ability to use Oscilloscopes, DMM's, and other commercial electronic diagnosis equipment
- Computer skills with older and newer operating systems (DOS, Windows 3.1 through Windows 10)
- Experience troubleshooting / repairing computers
- Experience using, troubleshooting, and repairing automated test equipment
- Communication skills
- Ability to get Secret Security Clearance
- Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent (such as military training)
- Able to work with limited supervision
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Well-rounded understanding of metrology process (PMEL training - Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory)
- IT understanding and experience
- Training certification for operating systems
- J-STD-001 Training
- IPC-A-610 Training
- IPC-A-620 Training
