This position will require the Regional Security Manager to manage and lead all aspects of the National Industrial Security Programs to include DoD Collateral and Information Assurance (ISSM) requirements.
Will have managerial responsibility to all security employees located in San Diego and Honolulu, HI and Los Angeles.
Additionally provide leadership support to Industrial Security, Special Programs and Information Assurance Directors across the Electronic Systems Sector.
Assist with Security leadership support for the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Business area within the Electronic Systems Sector.
Responsible for supporting adherence to all aspects of the security program as stipulated by various USG requirements including (but not limited to): 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM, JAFAN, DoD SAP Manuals, JSIG, lCDs,, NSA and customer/contract specific regulations.
Oversight and leadership support to Facility Security Officers (FSO's), Contractor Program Security Officers (CPSO's) and Information System Security Managers (ISSM's)
Strong background in SAP/SCI programs and Communications Security (COMSEC)
Responsible for Security reviews to include: Defense Security Service, SAP/SCI and NSA customer visits and formal self-inspections overseeing implementation/completion of corrective action plans.
Interprets policy, develops and implements security plans and procedures.
Provides security guidance to company personnel and advises Security Director and Senior Management. Responsible for direct supervision of security staff, budget and allocation of resources.
Assist with Chapter 8 (Information Technology Security) requirements to include: Development, approval and review of Automated Information Systems, this to include SIPRNET configuration.
Represents Security with local site leadership to include Site Executive team
Along with the Asset Protection Manager, establishes and maintains physical security systems, plant protection, contingency plans and emergency response.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or 14 years of experience in lieu of degreePreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Current Secret clearance with ability to receive a Top Secret Clearance
Experience with the PC’s and office software, strong report writing skills. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Knowledge and experience of managing classified programs
Decision making and reasoning skills
Knowledge of contractor operations, computer, physical, technical and personnel security requirements
Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), .JAFAN, DoD SAP Manuals, JSIG, lCDs, and customer/contract specific regulations
