Job Description BAE Systems is looking for a Full-Motion Video (FMV) Instructor who is interested in joining a team of professionals providing direct intelligence support to the Global War on Terror. Successful candidates will be part of a high profile instruction team embedded in a multi-intelligence fusion watch floor environment training employees on tactical FMV collection methods and analysis. The instructor will teach the application of FMV techniques and instruct on the theory, techniques, procedures, and sensors used to produce digital and hardcopy FMV intelligence products.
Instructors are expected to have a strong knowledge of and be able to develop entry-level and advanced training on FMV sensor capabilities pertaining to both Electro Optical (EO) and Infrared (IR) theories. As well as exploitation and collection practices as it relates to each mission set. Instructor duties include development and revision of FMV courses, conduct on-podium instruction of developed courseware, and management of students and classroom work and activities. The candidate will also help create new course curriculum in conjunction with government analysts, management, and members of the Intelligence Community (IC). Successful candidates will provide discussion topics and training to Customer entities and represent the organization for capability and tactics, techniques, and procedural discussions.Required Education, Experience, & Skills -10 total years of Intel-related experience; a relevant Bachelor’s degree can count for 4 years, and Master’s for an additional 2 years
- 12 months of experience as FMV analyst in MACSS-IDIQ TO3 (program supported by this position)
-Attended a basic Intel course
-Ability to prepare and present briefings with creation/use of visual displays
-Ability to work rapidly in high-tempo, high-stress environment that requires multi-tasking
-Excellent oral & written skills
-Ability to compile, research, interpret, analyze, and disseminate intelligence
-Superior knowledge of Intel collection process
-Working knowledge with ArcGIS and RemoteView or comparable ELT software
-Proven experience training small-to-medium groups (10-20 people)
-Successfully completed onsite training
-Proficiency must be demonstrated every 90 days by working in each position, which may be training or Ops, the equivalent of one 12-hour shift
-Support ad-hoc training blocks as requested by 24/7 branches
-Adult learning certification is required, and if not possessed, the selected candidate must attend the customer Fundamentals of Instructional Facilitation course within a year of assuming the position.
- If currently in a program management role (e.g. TL, TM, AOR Ops Lead), must have held the role for no less than six months to be eligible
- If currently in a Silver Team position (e.g. DTO, STC, HLV, SAR, Research), must have held the role for no less than 12 months to be eligible
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills -Course development experience (e.g. eLearning)
-Detailed knowledge of IC, DoD, Federal, and Commercial imagery systems
-Integral part of a team
-Well versed with internet relay chat
-Capable of performing geo-locational mensuration functions, extracting coordinates and positional relationships
-Maintain and use Geospatial databases
-Very knowledgeable on intelligence organizations, collection, and reporting systems
-Superior knowledge of geographical and cultural aspects of foreign countries, military capabilities, and weapons systems
-Proven ability to work independently
-Hands-on experience with IEC/NES Workstations, RemoteView, and Arc-GIS. Knowledge of Falcon View and/or other soft copy imagery software (e.g. Remote View) and/or GMTI and SAR applications.
-Experience in creating presentations, briefings, and geospatial products for demonstration purposes.
-Experience in an adult learning program (e.g., service intelligence school, college, or senior high school) or successful completion of a military, educational, or commercial certified program or Instructor Training Course (ITC) or degree in a similar discipline.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75570 - $128480
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
