Internal audit is looking for a high performing business leader to join our team.
Each audit provides the opportunity for detailed research on a new audit topic and the ability to translate the research into an actionable audit plan delivering thoughtful and relevant recommendations that integrate compliance measures with business improvement efforts.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex audits, interfacing with business personnel of all levels, and in all parts of BAE Systems Inc. businesses;
- Conduct detailed data, policy and document reviews, while also utilizing interpersonal skills to build rapport with auditees;
- A significant component of the responsibilities includes interviewing employees and observing the operating environment of the Inc. business;
- The position, on occasion, also interfaces with the plc audit team for the purpose of cross group projects or group audits, spanning the global corporation;
- The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation of knowledge in business practices. The position offers a wide diversity of experiences and exposure to every part of the Inc. enterprise;
- Flexibility in work hours and travel schedule is necessary. The Audit Manager must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally, with some weekend travel at least 25% of the time, with up to 50% in some quarters.
*This role is remote however employee must live near major airport and when not on-site plan to work East Coast hours (9am - 5pm)
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, data analytics or other applicable major;
- 8+ years of relevant experience in audit;
- Ability to report audit results both verbally and in written form to senior executives;
- Ability to supervise and direct audit team members during the course of the audit;
- Attention to detail in both audit planning, fieldwork and reporting;
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees and clearly communicate in writing, orally and in presentations with subject matter that is new and unfamiliar;
- Documentation, report writing and interviewing skills;
- The role requires employees who are highly independent, curious, and can problem solve unique and unchartered situations;
- Ability to work non-standard hours and travel approximately 25-50% of the time, depending on the audit.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Proficiency using data analytics in auditing;
- CIA, CPA, CISA, CA.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $113080 - $192280
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
