Job Description The Administrative Assistant at Los Angeles AFB, CA supporting the US Space Force (USSF) Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Launch Enterprise Directorate (SMC/ECL) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) contract represents organizational unit on administrative matters. Recommends, interprets, and/or implements company and internal administrative policies and procedures. Performs as a generalist a combination of administrative tasks in a functional area. May prepare budgeting, project scheduling, and statistical reports as required.
Experience in documentation planning and support, project administration, program management support, event planning and administration, office relocation planning, mail services, records, and data input, composes routine correspondence, documents, reports, orders, forms, etc., in support of site personnel as required, locates and summarizes information and data from files and documents, responsible for maintaining duty status of site personnel, suspense dates for matters requiring compliance and similar information/data concerning the site mission. Requires technical computer skills and ability to use Microsoft office suite, Adobe acrobat, and other general office software and equipment.
Knowledge - Substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks. Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques and standards. General application of concepts and principles.
Supervision and Management Received - Works with little instruction on daily work, general instruction on newly introduced assignments
Accountability - Errors may be detected and corrected but may result in loss of customer business, material or equipment to resolve.
Contacts - Contacts are typically with individuals within own department. Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data requiring some explanation or interpretation.
Problem Solving - Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance.
Discretion and Latitude - Works under general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
Impact - Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would normally require moderate expenditure of resources to rectify or may cause delays in program schedules and may result in the allocation of additional resources.
Liaison - Works primarily internal to company and some customer work site. Limited inter-organizational and outside customer contacts.

What We Offer+ Warrior Integration Program (Est. 2008)
This program was created to assist in the employment, transition, education, and development of wounded warriors.
