Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description BAE Systems is pleased to announce an opening for a Senior Program Financial Analyst supporting the Flight Solutions business located in Mojave, CA.

BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

To apply basic knowledge of accounting and finance principles to support various programs, as well as miscellaneous delivery/task order awards.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Finance interface with Program Management/Operations on assigned projects
2. Pull weekly GL reports from COGNOS and reconcile the data, preparing and submitting adjusting entries as required when errors are discovered
3. Prepare project setup forms
4. Track contract deliverables.
5. Track and monitor obligation expenditures.
6. Track all assigned projects’ creation, expenditures, and closeout
7. Complete monthly account reconciliations
8. Support month-end closing activities
9. Enter forecast data into Hyperion.
10. Support other ad hoc analysis, projects, or data request

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Mojave California or surrounding areas.Required Education, Experience, & Skills Typical Education and Experience:

Master’s Degree & 2 years of related experience
Bachelor’s Degree & 4 years of related experience
Associates Degree & 6 years of related experience
High School Diploma and 8 years of related experience

Excellent command of MS Office Suite to include: MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.

Experience in program finance and government contracting for multiple contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M).

Experience with Deltek, CostPoint, Hyperion, Earned Value Management, working with Deltek Cobra, and Microsoft Access a plus.
